Bell gets set for 24 hour quiz and raise money for Katharine House Hospice
John Bellinger, licensee of the Bell Inn, Adderbury has been challenged by his customers to run a quiz for 24 hours – beginning on Saturday 27 March - and raise money for Katharine House Hospice.
John has set the questions, all 2,400 of them, but he now needs teams to answer them, so he is challenging customers to enter a team for all or part of the quiz. Teams/individuals must raise sponsor money, and a fee of £20.00 per team should accompany their completed registration form, which is available from the Bell.
In addition to teams, John is recruiting volunteers to give the answers and record the scores on the leader board.
Sponsors are also being sought to provide prizes and incentives to those taking part, to ensure the challenge achieves its main aim, to raise the much needed funds for Katharine House Hospice.
“Prizes will be awarded to the team who finishes with the highest number of points, to the individual who raises the most money for Katharine House Hospice and the team who scores the lowest average number of points will also be presented with an appropriate prize,” said John.
Anyone wanting to support John’s challenge by sponsoring his efforts can do so by visiting his webpage www.justgiving.com/challengejb24hourquiz
