Old Hooky on the shelves at Waitrose and Booker
Hook Norton Brewery has scored a major coup with Old Hooky being selected by grocery store Waitrose and cash and carry Booker for nationwide distribution.
Old Hooky at 4.6 per cent ABV is a beautifully balanced beer, fruity by nature, with a well-rounded body and the suggestive echo of Crystal Malt.
Hook Norton Managing Director James Clarke said:“Everything about Old Hooky is a bit special and indeed different. To make Old Hooky requires the art, craft and skill of the brewer, the finest raw materials and water drawn from deep wells beneath our North Oxfordshire Brewery.
“This consistently popular tawny bitter has a strong fruity aroma and palate, balanced by a subtle hoppiness, creating a well rounded and pleasing beer.”
Old Hooky is packaged in a tall slim-line bottle that further enhances the distinctiveness of its image and is designed to appeal to a broader range of drinkers. It also looks good on the dining table and pairs very well with meat dishes.
