Hook Norton Brewery’s shire horse drawn dray is a regular and much loved feature of life in the village of Hook Norton as it delivers beer to local pubs.
But the shire horses - Major, Consul and Nelson - not only deliver beer locally within five miles of the brewery they star at many public functions from pub openings, beer festivals, fetes, country shows and even weddings.

Beer delivery
The drays make regular deliveries to several pubs in the area of Hook Norton. At 7.30am the dray is loaded and the horses are fed, watered and groomed. At 9.30 -9.45am the horses are tacked up and attached to dray. At About 10 - 10.30am they leave the brewery to carry out deliveries.
